Samara is a major transport hub with good railway links, river port and Kurumoch International Airport. The airport has an extensive route network to practically all the regions of the Russian Federation as well as neighbouring and distant countries. There is a newly-constructed and modern railway station in the very center of Samara. Railway lines go from Samara in all directions (with direct trains to Moscow and other cities). http://eng.rzd.ru

From the railway station you can get to Samara Center for Theoretical Materials Science (SCTMS) of Samara State Aerospace University by bus or shuttle bus (# 50, 206) to the stop “Gosuniversitet”. It takes 20-30 minutes.

The best way to get to SCTMS from the airport is by taxi. The standard rate for a taxi to the airport is 800 RUB ($27), and 1000R ($33) to be met at the airport. It’s possible to get from the airport to Samara by public transport. There is a bus which runs from the airport domestic terminal to Samara.
