Applications of topological methods in materials science

International workshop
Dates: July 1 — 2, 2016
Venue: Samara, Russia.

The workshop before the school “Combined topological and DFT methods for prediction of new materials II” is intended to show how topological or related methods and approaches can be applied to analyze structures and predict properties of crystalline substances and materials. Both ToposPro experts and the researchers, whose ideas or tasks were used to improve ToposPro, will present lectures in the first day. The second day will be devoted to presentations of the researchers, who use topological approaches in their investigations of condensed matter. The participants of the school are also invited to present their results.

It is expected that the lecturers of the workshop will also give lessons during the school and will be available for consulting the students.
