20260525-01On May 19-22, Professor Vladislav Blatov participated in the 3rd Open BRICS+ Conference on Novel Materials and Devices (BRICS+ 3OCNMD), which was held at the Congress Center of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University (Moscow).

Research groups from Russia, China, India, Iran, Mexico, and the UAE participated in this international conference. The main goal of the event was to develop international cooperation and research in the field of new materials and devices, bringing together leading universities from BRICS+ countries. Particular attention was paid to the development of artificial intelligence methods in materials science.

Professor Vladislav Blatov delivered a plenary presentation entitled "Methods and software for extracting knowledge from crystallographic databases."

"Developing scientific contacts between scientists from BRICS countries is particularly important in the modern world," comments Professor Vladislav Blatov. "Currently, in many countries in Europe, the United States, Japan, and a number of other countries, unfortunately, political considerations are significantly hindering the development of international scientific cooperation. Therefore, it is even more important to develop contacts with countries that are not subject to political pressures and are interested in creating a unified scientific community. The first two conferences in this series were held in China, and I am very pleased that we met again in Moscow. Many acquaintances attended, we discussed new trends in our field of science, and outlined new avenues for collaboration. For me, the conference was very fruitful."
