Dr. Yelizaveta Morkhova, a senior researcher at the SCTMS, has once again been named among the top 100 laureates of the Samara Region competition for young scientists and construction designers working in priority areas of science, technology, and engineering. The winners will receive a one-time cash payment of 120,000 rubles.This year, 176 applications were submitted from representatives of universities, research institutes, and enterprises in the real sector of the economy. The topics of the projects presented by the scientists are related to priority areas of scientific and technological development in Russia.
Yelizaveta Morkhova's work focuses on high-performance modeling and experimental validation of the structure and properties of functional materials.
"This competition evaluates the scientific work completed over the previous year," comments Yelizaveta, "specifically, publications, patents, and the level of events where research results were presented. This motivates me to improve my performance year after year. This is my fifth consecutive year of receiving regional support, and such a high recognition is very gratifying and motivates me to work even harder for the benefit of our region."
