The results of the regional "Young Scientist" competition have been announced. Our students were among the 98 winners. This year, 43 undergraduate students, 42 graduate students, and 13 PhD candidates received the title of Best Young Scientist and an individual grant. A total of 291 applications from 14 universities were submitted to the competition.Polina Martynova presented her research paper, "The Concept of 'Colored' Topological Type: Classification and Modeling of Intermetallic Compounds." Elizaveta Merzlyakova won with her paper "Stability and Conductive Properties of MNb2O6 (M = Ba, Sr) Phases: Theoretical Studies and Experimental Measurements."
The students will receive a one-time payment of 50,000 rubles.
