20250310-04The project of the senior researcher of the SCTMS Dr. Yelizaveta Morkhova became the only one supported by RSF from the Samara region on the event “Conducting research by scientific groups under the guidance of young scientists”. In total, there are 211 projects on the list of winners.

Application number and name: 25-73-10052 "Development of new promising solid-state materials for magnesium and zinc-ion batteries." The size of the grant is 6 million rubles annually, the duration is 3 years.

The project is devoted to the development of materials for magnesium and zinc-ion batteries, which are of interest as a system of storage of electric energy due to their safety and the lower cost of components compared to materials of lithium-ion batteries. In the project, using a wide range of theoretical and experimental methods, ion-conquing materials will be simulated and synthesized and their electrochemical properties will be studied. After theoretical research and selection of materials with the best indicators, scientists plan to synthesize at least eight new crystalline conductors, as well as collect and test mint cells with the materials received.
