From March 3 to March 15, 2025, Professor Vladislav Blatov and senior researcher at SCTMS Olga Blatova were on a business trip at two universities in China in order to organize joint research and academic exchange.Professor Vladislav Blatov concluded a three-year contract with the North-West Polytechnic University (NWPU, X’ian) and discussed the results of joint research in the field of creating new ion conductors and inorganic catalysts for the synthesis and decomposition of ammonia with employees of the scientific group of Professor Junji Van. Professor Blatov also took part in defense of the master's dissertation of the student of the NWPU, Jawen Lee, whose co-supervisor he was.
At the University of Beijing, Professor Blatov gave a lecture “Topological Methods and Tools for the Analysis and Design of New Materials” for students, graduate students and young scientists of the university, and then, together with Olga, conducted a master class on the use of topological methods of analysis crystalline structures developed in the SCTMS of the Samara Polytechnic. Professor V. Blatov and O. Blatova discussed the directions of research in the field of modelling and synthesis of new metal-organic frame materials with the head of the scientific group of the faculty of material science and engineering at the University of Beijing Professor Jinhu Dow.
