From October 23 to November 2, 2024, Professor Vladislav Blatov was on a business trip to the Northwestern Polytechnical University (NWPU, Xi'an, China) with the aim of organizing joint scientific research and academic exchange between Samara Polytechnic University and NWPU.
Professor V. Blatov gave a lecture for students, postgraduates and young staff of the School of Materials Science and Engineering of NWPU on the topic "Topological approaches to modeling crystal structures of inorganic compounds", in which he gave an overview of the methods for modeling and predicting the structure and properties of crystalline materials developed at the SCTMS. V. Blatov also held scientific consultations for NWPU master's students as part of joint scientific research on promising crystalline ionic conductors and electrides. Consultations were held with representatives of NWPU on expanding cooperation between Samara Polytechnic University and the School of Materials Science and Engineering of NWPU in the field of theoretical and experimental materials science.
