30 October 2024

20241030-02Prof. Vladislav Blatov, Dr. Yelizaveta Morkhova, Ekaterina Bukhteeva and Vladislav Osipov took part in the XXII Mendeleev Congress on General and Applied Chemistry. The events were held at the sites of the federal territory "Sirius" from October 7 to 12, 2024. This year, the congress is dedicated to the 190th anniversary of D. Mendeleev and the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Professor Vladislav Blatov was invited to work as the chairman of one of the sectional meetings in the direction "Chemistry and Technology of Materials". Professor V. Blatov also gave an oral report "Geometric and Topological Approaches to Modeling Crystalline Substances with Given Properties".

Dr. Yelizaveta Morkhova made an oral report in the section "Current Problems of Energy Conversion in Lithium Electrochemical Systems". The topic of her report was "Theoretical and Experimental Study of Conductivity in Na6M2(CO3)4SO4 (M = Mg, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni) Structures".

Research assistants of the SCTMS, postgraduate students of the Department of General Chemistry of the Samara Polytechnic University Vladislav Osipov and Ekaterina Bukhteeva presented their reports in the poster session. Vladislav Osipov presented the report "Analysis of Na+ Ion Migration in the Disordered Layered Oxide Na1.09Ni0.67Mn0.2Co0.1O2" in the section "Current Problems of Energy Conversion in Lithium Electrochemical Systems". Ekaterina Bukhteeva presented a poster entitled “The influence of the topological structure of crystalline substances on their mechanical properties” in the “Chemistry and Technology of Materials” section.
