SCTMS employees took part in oral presentations at the scientific conference-school “Artificial Intelligence in Chemistry and Materials Science”, which was held from December 18 to 20, 2023 at the Institute of Organic Chemistry named after Zelinsky Russian Academy of Sciences (Moscow).Among the areas of work of the conference are predicting the properties of molecules, optimization of properties, automated search for reagents, design of materials, recognition and analysis of spectra, prediction of the stability of compounds, molecular modeling, development of more environmentally friendly methods of production and creation of materials, and others.
Vladislav Osipov presented the report “Machine learning for high-performance search for new materials for metal-ion batteries”. Ekaterina Bukhteeva gave a presentation “Topological approach to reconstructive solid-phase transitions and its application to modeling new materials” and received a diploma for the best oral report. SCTMS was also represented at the conference by Prof. Eugeny Alexandrov with a report “Topological methods for the analysis and design of polymer networks”.
