Mikhail Smolkov, junior researcher at SCTMS, made an oral presentation at the IV International Scientific Conference "Modern Problems of Applied Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics", which was held from June 22 to June 26, 2023 in the village of Elbrus, Kabardino-Balkaria.The conference events coincided with the 75th anniversary of M. Oshkhunov, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Ph.D. Section meetings were held at the recreation center of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University in the village of Elbrus.
Mikhail spoke in the section "Actual problems of mathematical and computer modeling" with a report "New methods for generating three-periodic surfaces". The co-authors of Mikhail's report and research are Prof. A. Krutov and engineer of the laboratory of mathematical modeling of materials SCTMS Dr. M. Frolov. In the report, Mikhail spoke about the method of studying and designing three-periodic surfaces using the ToposPro, ANSYS programs and the Porous 3D program developed directly by him.
The report caused a very lively discussion, and several proposals for cooperation were received.
