Congress of the Council of young scientists and Student scientific society in Nizhny Novgorod

20230712-01SCTMS research laboratory assistant Vladislav Osipov took part in the XI All-Russian Congress of Councils of Young Scientists and Student Scientific Societies “Scientist of Our Time”, which was held in Nizhny Novgorod. The main events of the congress were held from 21 to 24 June 2023.

More than a thousand applications from 89 regions of Russia were received from representatives of the councils of young scientists and student scientific societies to participate in the event. During the congress, the implementation of initiatives and projects of the Decade of Science and Technology was discussed, as well as the best practices of the youth communities of Russian universities and research centers were presented. Among the tasks of the forum are the popularization of the achievements of Russian science and information about its prospects, the involvement of young people in the field of research and development, the development of scientific tourism and scientific volunteering.

The main events of the forum were held at the exhibition center "Nizhny Novgorod Fair", and the participants also had the opportunity to visit the laboratories and museums of the Lobachevsky University and take part in the celebrations of the Youth Day.

Among the significant events, Vladislav noted the meetings of the RSF School, during which the participants got acquainted with the features of the regional competitions of the RSF and could ask questions to the Deputy Director General of the Russian Science Foundation A. Blinov in an open microphone format. As well as the popular science lecture "Control of the motion of liquid, gas and plasma" by a senior researcher at the Federal Autonomous Institution "Professor Zhukovsky Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute", acting Head of the Department of Aerophysics of Multiphase Flows, Rarefied Gases and Plasma, Head of the Scientific and Technical Direction of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of TsAGI I.
