The SCTMS team consisting of Dr. Artem Kabanov, Dr. Alexander Krutov and Dr. Yelizaveta Morkhova became the winner of the 2022/23 grant competition for teachers under the Vladimir Potanin Scholarship Program. The grant in the amount of up to 500 thousand rubles was allocated for the development of curricula for the master's program at the Department of General and Inorganic Chemistry of the Samara Polytechnic University.According to the application, SCTMS staff will have to develop programs and methodological manuals for the courses "Mathematical Methods for Modeling the Structure of Materials" and "Methods for Modeling the Physical Properties of Materials".
1,023 people showed interest in the competition this year, and 433 applications from 66 universities were admitted to the examination. As a result, 150 winners were selected.
