11 July 2022

20220711-01Dr. Natalya Kabanova, Leading Engineer of the Laboratory of Crystal Chemistry and Crystal Design of the Moscow Scientific Research Center for Materials Science, made a presentation at the IV Baikal Materials Science Forum (BMSF-2022). The conference was held in the Republic of Buryatia (Ulan-Ude and the coast of Lake Baikal) from July 1 to July 7, 2022.

Among the main areas of work of the forum are chemistry and technology of functional materials; materials for heterogeneous catalysis; construction materials and coatings; new information technologies and computer design of materials; modern methods and equipment for the study of materials; environmental problems of materials science, etc.

Natalia's report "Pathways of cations migration in minerals: theoretical modeling" was included in the section "Crystal-chemical and thermodynamic aspects of materials science. Communication of structure with functional properties”. Among the co-authors are Elizaveta Morkhova and colleagues from the Kola Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Murmansk region, Apatity) – Dr. Taras Panikorovskiy and Dr. Sergey Aksenov.

Also, Dr. Natalya Kabanova and Elizaveta Morkhova were co-authors of the report by E. Orlova (Moscow State University) "Conductivity in layered rare-earth molybdates Ln2MoO6 (Ln = La, Pr, Nd)".
