Senior Researcher at the Laboratory for Mathematical Modeling of Materials Dr. Artem Kabanov was among the 20 laureates of the Provincial Prize in Science and Technology in 2021. The solemn presentation took place in the building of the Government of the Samara region on the Day of Russian Science – February 8.The Governor of the Samara Region Dmitry Azarov personally presented the winners with medals and diplomas of laureates of the Governor's Prize, as well as memorable gifts – wristwatches. The amount of the award is 100,000 rubles.
The topic of Artem's scientific research is "New materials for electrochemical energy storage systems: theoretical modeling and experiment".
The competition of the Provincial Prizes in the field of science and technology has existed since 1998, and the receipt of this prize by the employees of the SCTMS is beginning to become a landmark tradition.
