The Congress of Young Scientists, the central event of the Year of Science, was held at the educational center "Sirius" (in Sochi) from 8 to 10 December. SCTMS was represented at the event by the Head of the Laboratory for the Synthesis of New Crystalline Materials Dr. Eugeny Alexandrov and the Senior Researcher Dr. Artem Kabanov.The business program of the congress included round tables, thematic sessions and discussions, within which the results of the thematic months of the Year of Science and Technology were summed up, also a number of educational events in various areas of research activities, the exhibition "Vuzpromexpo-2021" (the high education institution’s expo) were held as well. Among the topics actively discussed at the congress were the following: "Year of Science and Technology", "Management and Investment", "Interaction and Cooperation", "Infrastructure and Environment" and "Human Resources and Human Capital".
Dr. Eugeny Alexandrov took part in the discussion "New production technologies and materials".
