Laboratory assistants-researchers of SCTMS Olga Yudova and Alexander Antonyuk took part in the work of the school for young scientists "Electroactive materials and chemical sources of current" (EMCPS), which was held on the basis of the Technopark "Mendeleev Center" at the Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia from 18 to 21 November 2021. Alexander became the winner of the report competition.
The school was devoted to the study of various aspects of the development and application of electrochemical energy storage devices based on lithium-ion batteries, fuel cells, flow batteries and other devices. The participants got acquainted with a number of key materials and concepts necessary for work in this area, as well as learned about real cases of using energy storage devices in modern power grids.
Leading Russian scientists in the field of electrochemistry were invited to conduct lectures and master classes. More than 40 young researchers from all over Russia took part in the EMCPS school.
A poster session was held within the school. Our employees presented their scientific developments: "Search for high-valence ionic conductors by methods of crystal chemical analysis" (Olga Yudova) and "Investigation of electrical conductivity in the Li7-xLa3Zr2-xTaxO12 system" (Alexander Antonyuk). Alexander took the third place in the competition of participants' reports.
