The school focuses on the theoretical and practical aspects of materials science for electrochemical power sources and introduces young researchers to the latest advances in battery material design. The school program included traditional lectures, networking and laboratory workshops in several areas.
The result of the workshop was the public defense of scientific projects by teams that competed for the Best Performance Award. The project “DFT-calculations for LiB as SEI and anode material Li3V2O5: structure and properties” won in the direction “Computational methods”, the team of which included Elizaveta Morkhova. The work "Electron Microscopy analysis of Li1.2Ni0.2Mn0.6O2" was recognized as the best in the field of "Electron microscopy", on which a team of Evgeny Frolov worked.
