The head of the laboratory for the synthesis of new crystalline materials, Dr. Eugeny Alexandrov, became one of 20 laureates of the Gubernia’s Award in Science and Technology in 2020. The ceremony took place on February 8, the Day of Russian Science.The Governor of the Samara region – Dmitry Azarov – personally presented the medals and diplomas of laureates of the Gubernia’s Award to the winners, and also memorable gifts – wristwatches. The amount of the award is 100,000 rubles.
The Gubernia’s Science and Technology Award Competition exists since 1998. In 2020, 38 applications were submitted for the competitive selection. Eugeny presented for the expert review a scientific research "Topological methods of materials design based on coordination polymers and porous organic crystals for solving environmental problems."
