Eugeny Alexandrov was among the 100 winners of the competition for scientists and designers working in the Samara region in priority areas for the development of science and technology for the region.The competition has been held since 2016 and every year more than 200 of research and development works of young scientists and designers are submitted to it. The work should be distinguished by scientific novelty, aimed at creating and introducing into production fundamentally new technologies and new scientific and technical products, devices, equipment, materials and substances that contribute to the development of scientific and technical potential of the Samara region.
From March 5 to 26, 2020, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Samara Region accepted 180 applications from young scientists working in leading universities, research organizations and enterprises of the region. Research topics: production technologies, information technologies and electronics, space and aviation technologies, ecology and rational nature management, innovative technologies in medicine, etc. Each of the 100 winners of the competition will receive a one-time individual grant in the amount of 120 thousand rubles.
The application of the Head of the Laboratory of synthesis of new crystalline materials SCTMS Eugeny Alexandrov was considered in the direction “New materials, chemical technologies, nanotechnologies”. The theme of his project is “Computer Design and Synthesis of New Materials Based on Metal-Organic Coordination Polymers for Sorption Technologies, Catalysis, Sensors and Electronics”. Among the expected results of the work, several knowledge databases with correlations and a database of predicted structures, as well as a number of synthesized materials with promising sorption, catalytic, mechanical and electrical properties.
