From October 29 till November 1, 2017 Delft, one of the oldest cities in the Netherlands, attracted chemists interested in research and design of MOFs.
Andrey Goltsev and Aleksandr Garin took part in the poster session. Andrey Goltsev presented the results of the research performed in cooperation with Dr. Eugeny Alexandrov, Prof. Vladislav Blatov and Dr. Maxim Peskov. The report “Theoretical study of mechanical anisotropy of rod-packed MOFs formed by {M(O,OH)(CO2)2}n rod SBUs” highlighted the analysis of the structure and mechanical properties of rod-packed MOFs and revealed regularities of “composition-structure-properties” type.
Aleksandr Garin in his poster “Self-catenation phenomena in coordination polymers” presented the research aimed at revealing the influence of a self-catenation type on mechanical, physical and chemical properties.
