At present the application documents of Falk Meutzner, the researcher of TU Bergakademie Freiberg (TUBAF, Germany), is in progress for enrollment in the Ph.D. program of Samara University. Professor Vladislav Blatov will be the scientific supervisor of Mr. Meutzner.In 2016, Samara University and TUBAF concluded the agreement on implementation of joint Ph.D. program. Falk Meutzner is the first postgraduate student of Chemistry to be enrolled in the program.
Falk Meutzner has been cooperating with Samara Center for Theoretical Materials Science since 2015. He took part in the International scientific school of SCTMS. Last year Dr. Tilmann Leisegang (TUBAF) and Falk Meutzner gave a course of lectures “An introduction to crystallography: Through the diverse world of crystalline matter towards solid electrolytes“, they also prepared and published several research papers jointly with the SCTMS researchers.
