On November 9, 2018 within the public lecture course, Prof. Vladislav Blatov gave the lecture “The main approximations of quantum chemistry” in the conference hall of SCTMS (12, Novo-Sadovaya St.).
The lecture reviewed the main approximations in the process of atoms and molecules modeling by ab initio methods. The lecturer paid particular attention to physical meaning, applicability and limitations of every approximation.
