Tikhon Slavnov, a researcher at the Crystal Chemistry and Crystal Design Laboratory at the SCTMS, has received funding for a project under the "Participant in the Youth Scientific and Innovative Competition" (“UMNIK”) program as part of the "Technologies" federal project. The grant for the development of an online service will amount to 500,000 rubles.Project title is: "Development of an Online Service for Predicting Metallic Phase Structures."
The project plans to create an online service that will enable the verification of experimental data on known metallic materials and the prediction of new metallic phases. The service will include a database containing information on the chemical composition, geometric, and topological properties of the crystal structures of metallic phases (alloys and intermetallic compounds). The user interface will allow users to retrieve information from the database and use it to verify experimental results and predict new structures.
