Dr. Mikhail Frolov, an employee of the SCTMS, returned from the II International Conference “Mechanics of Biomedical Materials and Devices”, which was held from July 15 to 17, 2025 in Perm. The scientific events were held at the Perm Polytechnic University.The conference was attended by more than 100 specialists in the field of biomedical engineering, biomechanics, materials science, experimental mechanics and modeling, as well as practicing doctors. Participants came from different regions of Russia, and representatives from Belarus, Great Britain, South Africa, the UAE, China and India also took part in the conference.
Mikhail gave an oral report “Mechanical Properties of Metamaterials Based on P Surfaces” in the section “Mechanics of Biocompatible Materials and Products Made of Them”. Our employee presented the results of a study conducted jointly with Dr. Mikhail Smolkov, Dr. Alexander Burchakov and Prof. Alexander Krutov.
