20250624-04For the time being, the article "Topological representations of crystal structures: generation, analysis and implementation in the TopCryst system", published in 2022 in one of the first issues of the journal «Science and Technology of Advanced Materials: Methods», has been cited more than 100 times (according to Web of Science).

Prof. Alexander Shevchenko, Aleksandr Shabalin, Igor Karpukhin and Prof. Vladislav Blatov report in this article about the possibilities of analysing topological representations of crystal structures using the TopCryst online service developed by the authors.

"The TopCryst service is one of our main software products, along with the ToposPro software package," comments Professor Vladislav Blatov. — It provides automatic topological analysis of crystal structures of any complexity and is gradually becoming a generally accepted tool for crystal structure research. Currently, it has been used more than 40,000 times by scientists from over 80 countries. In this article, we reviewed the main analysis algorithms implemented in TopCryst. The article is considered an official link to TopCryst, which is why it is often cited. I am confident that the number of citations will grow in the coming years, as we continue to improve our service."
