Two researchers of SCTMS took part in the European Conference on Python in Science

20160921-01-1Andrey Golov and Pavel Zolotarev participated in the European Conference on Python in Science that took place on 23-27 of August in Erlangen (Germany).

It was the ninth conference that attracted experts and trainees in the field of scientific applications of Python programming language. The conference was aimed at introducing new scientific tools and libraries of Python. The conference program included the following focus areas: parallel computations, data manipulations, visualization, data flows storage, etc. During the conference, the participants managed to master new tools for processing and analysis of scientific data and their visualization.

“My colleagues program using Python. Andrey and I also study this programming language, - says Pavel Zolotarev. – Participation in the school enabled to improve our programming skills as well as to acquaint ourselves with prospective developments like Interactive multi-dimensional data exploration and linking with Glue (Thomas Robitaille).
